As I might have mentioned once or twice already this month, this is the first year that I haven't been "home" for Christmas. I managed to get all of my presents sent on time and am so grateful to Mom and Carrie for doing some wrapping for me :)
Today we opened presents together via Skype - how wonderful and amazing technology is!
Do excuse the smudgy screen, but there is my family :) And here is what it looked like from their end....
While Eleanor finished her nap we watched them open the presents we sent and Graham and I opened the presents that were sent for us. We also got to watch my brother and his family open this special present....
(tee hee - notice me sitting on the chair over by the tv - love it!)
This was a suitcase filled with goodies - all of which will be used this coming summer when they all come here to join us for a whole week at the coast/beach!
A couple more pictures from our Christmas together....
mom opening a gift as I watch and as Graham plays with his new building toy/drill - he LOVES it!
...and the gift opening aftermath at my house - Ellie was totally intrigued by the people on the 'puter!
We left Skype open for a little while after gifts were open and I found myself watching what was going on back there - it almost felt like I was there (minus being able to eat the yummy food!)
So, so thankful for technology and family that is willing to embrace it. Tonight Graham is thankful for the airplane pjs/lounge-wear that Nana made for him to match his blanket :)
